Im piercing is infected... What do I do?
I got a new piercings last week and now it is infected. It is a small earring and my ear is so swollen that i cant ever hardly grab it. The only reason I cant take it out it because it has the back on it that locks into place... Can you help? Is there an easy way to get it off or help get the swelling down?
honestly the piercing is being rejected and it swells up, and it makes it really sore that you can't even touch it! i would take it out don't be like me and i kept mine in and i got my right and left tragus pierced the same time and day and my left one is fine and there isn't nothing wrong with it and my right one was being rejected sept 1st and it was so swollen that you couldn't even see down my ear and i couldn't eat anything cause my lymph glands was so swollen when i would chew it would hurt so i couldn't eat for like 2 weeks i had to eat soup, pudding, jello and soft food! i tried to get my swelling down i tried ice and that didn't work and then i got a real hot rag and put it up to my ear and it took some of the swelling down and went to the er room cause i couldn't take the pain anymore so they gave me vicodin for the pain and augmention for the infection and it wasn't working so i went to the doctors and they put me on another infection pill and finally the pain and the swelling went away and you can see down my ear!
